Blind Date to Soulmate from Danielle Boatner of Yazoo County
This is my husband, Will Boatner, and I sharing a kiss on Christmas. I met him at age 17 as a blind date set up by my sister and her husband. We have been together since October 12, 2002. We were married February 15, 2004....the day after my husband’s family friend Michael Hargon and his family were kidnapped and murdered. Everyone doubted that this "young love" would survive, but every day we are proving them wrong. He is my soulmate and God definitely had his hand in our meeting. We have 2 children ages 7 and 5.
My Dream Come True: James Roach and Natasha of North Jackson
I first met Tasha at G.N. Smith, where we went to elementary school together. I remember her being the tall girl on the dance troop whose mom worked at the school. It was funny when I ran into her again eleven years later at my mom's job. Strangely, I would occasionally bump into her around town, usually at WalMart buying stuff for her students or something to bake. I will never forget one particular night, I was walking through the store, and our paths crossed again. She smiled and spoke as usual, but this time her simple smile seemed to give me comfort and encouragement. Time went on, and we began to develop a friendship, praying for and listening to each other. It was easy to talk with her about anything. She was becoming my best friend, who I trusted enough to give my heart. She was so different- classy, mature, always smiling, just amazing. Friend? Girlfriend? I couldn't find a word fitting enough to describe her. Until now...I am proud to say that Tasha is my fiance and soon to be wife in 221 days. I grew up admiring my grandparents' marriage, and always knew what I wanted my wife to be. I am blessed to know that Natasha Williams is my dream come true.

Message on Valentine's Day from Teri Phillips
I have soooo many I could share a message with on Valentines Day, but I want to take today to share a special message to my parents, J.B. and Judy Tew of Mendenhall, MS. My Dad is retired Military. He served his country for 20+ years while my Mother worked a full-time job as well and managed to be both Mom and Dad to three children while Daddy was away. I have alot of childhood memories and even more memories as an adult; but I never REALLY learned to appreciate my parents until I myself became a parent. I want to take the time to tell my Daddy how much I love him and how much I appreciate all he's done for our family over the years; and for my Mom, my best friend. I could never tell her how much I love her and how grateful I am that not only did she teach her children how to love, but she taught us what LOVE was really about. My most fondest memories of growing up were those nights I could hear my Mother praying for her children before she closed her eyes at night. What a great legacy that she has passed down to us. If I can be only half the parent that my parents have been to me..... Wow! Happy Valentines Day to two very special people in my life!

'Hello Beautiful': Tina and Dean Abney
I met Dean Abney, in May of 1993. Six months later we were married. In 1997, we were blessed with a beautiful little girl who we named Kalea. Cory, a bouncy baby boy , followed in 2001. This love story was one that I never thought would be written especially for me. It takes a very special man, who doesn't stop with what is seen on the outside, but looks inside to see the heart. Eighteen years later and this man still calls me on the phone and says "Hello beautiful.”
'The perfect Valentine': Haley Skeen to JoshE
I'd like to send out a very special Valentine to Josh Edmiston "JoshE". He is simply the best person I've ever met -- my best friend, the perfect Valentine. He has been there for me through so much, even when we were "just friends". Josh is always by my side and on my side. I love you JoshE and your spectacular family. I'm so excited for what the future holds.
'Husband and best friend': Teresa Laird to Bobby of McCall Creek
I'd just like to say Happy Valentines Day to my wonderful husband, Bobby Laird. He is absolutely wonderful to me and my two kids, Darian and Dalton. Bobby came into our lives about 2 1/2 years ago and made life so much more amazing for us. He is the husband and best friend that I need and the dad to my kids that they deserve. He may not be their biological father, but he is in every way that counts their Dad. We love our Bobby!

'He is my hero and I love him so much': Amanda Carney to Dustin
My name is Amanda and my husband’s name is Dustin. We met through a friend in Quitman. Dustin is from Quitman and I am from Flora. We met at a gas station and it was love at first sight. On September 16, 2006 I got a phone call from our friend that he had a guy that wanted to talk to me. I was on the way to meet up with friends so I said I will but just for a minute. So, before I talked to him I asked our friend if he knew I was in a wheelchair and he said yes he doesn't mind. Well I got on the phone with him and the first thing he said was heller and I fell in love. He always made me laugh. When I got off the phone with him I said I am going to marry this guy. One day when we had been dating for almost a year and I got e coli. My mom took me to the hospital and Dustin drove two hours to be with me. I had to stay in the hospital for 3 or 4 days. Dustin went back home when I was feeling better and I thought I would go home the next day. Well, it didn't happen that way, I got sick again when I was talking to Dustin on the phone and he told me to get some rest. Well, the nurse came in about 2 that morning to check my vital signs and I wear glasses so I could not see well without them. I seen this guy across the room that looked like Dustin and he was smiling at me. I asked him what was he doing there at 2 in the morning. He said "I wanted to come be with you since you were sick" and to my surprise the nurse knew about it too since there was not supposed to be any visitors that late. He called the nurse to see if she would let him in to be with me and she did. So I asked the nurse if I could slap him and we all laughed. Needless to say he drove two hours and got there at 2 to be with me. He is now my husband after almost 6 wonderful years. He lost his dad last year and I am by his side all the way. I lost my grandfather almost 3 years ago and he has always been there for me. I (Amanda) am in a wheelchair due to spina bifida and he takes care of me. We got married March 13, 2010 and it was the best day of our lives. He is my hero and I love him so much.

'I love you more now than even then': From Regina Tucker to Jay
In 1976, I lived in Natchez, MS and met David Estes over the CB Radio...LOL! He was a sweet & funny guy & swept me off my feet. We married in 1977 and over the next few years we had 2 beautiful children, Renee & David, Jr. Sadly in 1988, my husband died. Our children were 9 & 3 years old. In 1989, I had to transfer with my job from Natchez to Jackson, MS. I was blessed to be introduced to Jay Tucker in 1990 on a blind date arranged by my niece. He was a handsome, distinguished looking man with salt n pepper colored hair and the father of 2 beautiful, young children of his own, ages 8 & 5 at the time. He was & still is very much a gentlemen and the most wonderful father I've ever known. We married in 1991, made it through the trials & tribulations of a blended family and have been married almost 21 years now. Jay, I love you more now than even then!
