The Budweiser Clydesdales were the highlight of the day in Jackson Thursday as their wagon stopped to visit children at the Blair E. Batson Hospital for Children and then rolled through Fondren to kick off Zippity Doo Dah weekend.
The streets of Fondren were packed for the kick-off event -- Arts, Eats & Beats -- which featured live music and food.
Zippity Doo Dah weekend festivities continue Friday and Saturday until the big parade at 7 p.m. in Fondren.
