Roll Off Dumpster Day Oct. 13 | Home & Garden

The City of Jackson is encouraging Jackson citizens to participate in Roll-Off Dumpster Day Saturday, Oct. 13.

This is an opportunity for residents to dispose of tree limbs, yard debris and household items.

Four locations will be open across the city from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. weather permitting:

• Smith Wills Stadium, 1200 Lakeland Drive, east of softball field
• James Davis & Sylvia Streets
• Next to 1469 West Northside Drive, old Precinct 3 parking lot
• Raines Park & Flag Chapel Road/Clinton Boulevard
• 3500 block of J R Lynch Street, old Precinct 2 parking lot
• Sykes Community Center, 520 Sykes Road
• Franklin Court (west off North West Street, 2 blocks north of Mitchell Street)

Residents may bring all household furniture, appliances, computers and accessories for disposal.

Tires, chemicals and gas tanks will not be accepted. Participants are asked to place debris inside the Dumpster provided at the locations.

Only Jackson residents are eligible to participate. Proof of residency may be required.
