Search warrant leads to seven drug arrests | Crime
JACKSON, MS (WLBT) - Eight people were arrested Thursday following the execution of a search warrant at an apartment in Jackson.
The Jackson Police Narcotics Unit served a search warrant in conjunction with Mississippi Bureau of Narcotics at an apartment building located at 455 Eminence Row Apt. A., according to JPD.
The following arrests were made:
- Quinton Bankhead, 22, charged with possession of marijuana with intent and possession of crack cocaine
- Demarcus Lloyd, 20, charged with possession of marijuana with intent and possession of crack cocaine
- Lenard Harris, 28, charged with possession of marijuana with intent and possession of crack cocaine
- Bernard Harris, 28, charged with possession of marijuana with intent and possession of crack cocaine
- Stanley Taylor, 31, charged with possession of marijuana with intent and possession of crack cocaine
- William Butler, 23, charged with possession of marijuana with intent and possession of crack cocaine
- Chetarian Fortune, 30, charged with possession of marijuana with intent and possession of crack cocaine
- Crystal Bolton, 26, failure to obey police and disorderly conduct
Approximately three-quarters of a pound of marijuana and half an ounce of crack cocaine were recovered. Also, more than $3,400 in cash was found.
