Jackson Walk MS event Saturday | Community Spirit

The Alabama-Mississippi Chapter of the National Multiple Sclerosis Society is having its annual Walk MS event Saturday in Flowood.

The walk is at Winner's Circle Park. Check in opens at 8 a.m. and the walk begins at 9 a.m.

Funds raised during the walk will help support services for the more than 2,500 Mississippi residents living with MS and also fund research to find a cure for the chronic disease.

Multiple Sclerosis is an unpredicatale and often disabling disease of the central nervous system that interrupts the flow of information within the brain and between the brain and the body.
